Michelle Weisenberger - candidate for Trempealeau County

Michelle Weisenberger and the Democratic Party of
Trempealeau County are pleased to announce her nomination to serve as Clerk
of Court for Trempealeau County. Weisenberger affirmed that the Clerk of
Court's Office is a place where friendly, courteous and skilled services are
provided. The Clerk's Office assists local residents with resources
including:
• Acquiring a passport
• Paying traffic citations
• Mediation and custody examination arrangement
• Coordination of jurors, and
• Courtroom operation support
Weisenberger added, "I have acquired a valuable tool through farming and
business experience - an outstanding work ethic. I take pride in doing a
good job and achieving results. I sincerely enjoy working with people and
have strong organizational and communication skills."
Weisenberger, 46, is a native of Trempealeau County and a 1981 graduate of
Blair High School. Michelle and her husband, Gary, along with their 2 grown
children, Amber and Dwight, owned and operated a dairy farm until the cows
were sold in 2006. After dairy farming for 25 years, Michelle returned to
school and received an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Business
Administration and Human Resources from Western Technical College.
Michelle has an extensive record of public service for several community
organizations. She was part of the Blair-Taylor School Board for 9 years,
and served 6 years as School Board Clerk. During her time on the school
board, she was active on the Policy Committee and the Support-Staff
Negotiation Committee. Michelle currently serves as Clerk/treasurer for the
Town of Ettrick and as treasurer for the Trempealeau County Dairy Committee.
Michelle is also employed full-time by the United Bank in Ettrick.
